INFECÇÃO SEXUALMENTE TRANSMISSÍVEL: PERCEPÇÃO; ORIENTAÇÃO E INTERVENÇÃO PARA ALUNOS DO ENSINO MÉDIO

A adolescência compreende o período de transição entre a infância e a vida adulta, caracterizado pelos impulsos do desenvolvimento físico, mental, emocional, sexual. O objetivo desse trabalho é orientar os alunos da primeira série do ensino médio, sobre os métodos de prevenção e as formas de transmissão das infecções sexualmente transmissíveis através de uma Cartilha sobre IST, abordando os sintomas da Candidíase e as principais infecções sexualmente transmissíveis. A intervenção aconteceu com 41 alunos da Primeira Série do Ensino Médio da escola Estadual Azevedo Costa. Antes da palestra foi feito algumas perguntas sobre o que são as ISTs para analisar previamente o que os alunos tinham em mente sobre o assunto e de acordo com as perguntas, foi perceptível que os alunos não sabiam nem a sigla de IST. Durante a palestra interventiva, cada estudante recebeu um exemplar da cartilha “Infecção Sexualmente Transmissível” para poder acompanhar a palestra. Os alunos se mostraram bem empolgados com o conteúdo e participaram fazendo perguntas e tirando suas dúvidas durante a própria intervenção, a maioria das perguntas foram feitas por meninas que tinham dúvidas principalmente sobre a Candidíase. Os resultados adquiridos através do questionário sobre a Cartilha, mostra quanto é importante ser trabalhado o tema de Infecções sexualmente transmissíveis nas escolas, com intuito de reduzir a vulnerabilidade de jovens infectados.

ABSTRACT:

Adolescence comprises the transition period between childhood and adulthood, characterized by the impulses of physical, mental, emotional and sexual development. The objective of this work is to guide the students of the first grade of high school, on the methods of prevention and the forms of transmission of sexually transmitted infections through a Primer on STI, addressing the symptoms of Candidiasis and the main sexually transmitted infections. The intervention took place with 41 students from the First Year of High School at the Azevedo Costa State School. Before the lecture, some questions were asked about what ISTs are to previously analyze what the students had in mind about the subject and according to the questions, it was noticeable that the students did not even know the acronym of IST. During the interventional lecture, each student received a copy of the booklet “Sexually Transmitted Infection” to accompany the lecture. Students were very excited about the content and participated by asking questions and clarifying their doubts during the intervention itself, most of the questions were asked by girls who had questions mainly about Candidiasis. The results acquired through the questionnaire on the Booklet show how important it is to work on the topic of sexually transmitted infections in schools, with the aim of reducing the vulnerability of infected young people.
